Dr. Sorelle is originally from Acushnet, MA. Dr. Sorelle graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY with a B.S. in Biology where he was on the honor roll and graduated as the president of his class. Dr. Sorelle went to medical school at the UAG in Guadalajara, Mexico and finished his medical school training at New York Medical College.
Dr. Sorelle then went on to obtain a categorical, level 1 trauma, surgical residency position at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. Dr Sorelle then completed an orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the UCONN/Yale Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT.
Dr Sorelle then started his own complete hand care institute in Las Vegas, NV. Dr Sorelle has published in some of the most prestigious textbooks in hand surgery as recent as 2010. Dr Sorelle is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).
Dr. Sorelle also Lectured and conducted a suture class for Navy tactical field medics in March 2005.
